Tom Cruise has bought Katie a sonogram machine. I guess now he's an obstetrician as well as a psychologist. The man do get around.

Sheesh! A man of much money, little brain.

I remember back when there was some concern about having too many (or prolonged) sonograms. It was said that the ultrasound waves create heat within the womb that could be detrimental to the fetus. I guess he didn't read that in "his" medical journal. ;)

What an odd thing to buy. Can't you just picture them firing that thing up every 14 days to get a look at their child?

Believe it or not, I've actually heard of people renting those things! Silly me, I always thought it was a medical diagnostic tool, but apparently now it's an in-utero portrait studio for parents-to-be with lots of cash on hand.

I don't know if it's still there and in business, but I saw a place in a mall satellite called "Fetal Fotos." I confess that I was horrified.
