V8 Juice

Ok - another one of those sort-of embarrasing topics - everytime I drink V8 juice, it gives me the worst breath - I think way worse than onions or garlic. I say this b/c there has only been 2 times that DH has ever said something about my breath & it's been the 2 times I've been around him when I've just had one.
Anyone else found this to be true? (I brought toothpaste to work with me today, since a V8 was part of my lunch - I'm paranoid!!!)

I haven't noticed it on me either - but my DH certainly has. Just wondering... I am very paranoid now when I have one.

I'm a HUGE V-8 fan, and I'd drink it daily if it weren't for the sodium. I've tried the low-sodium stuff, but that just doesn't work! I've never really noticed particularly bad breath, but then on the other hand I'm standing behind it... http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif I remember my mother telling me when I was a kid that there was nothing worse than tomato juice breath because of the acidity of the tomatoes. Doesn't seem to affect me when I eat lasagna or pasta sauce though! Maybe it's the combination of the other juices, or the salt! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

I haven't noticed this problem either. I do use the low sodium V8 and we like it. I usually have home canned juice though and I've never added too much salt, so I guess we're used to the taste.
