Where do I get Green Tomotoes??

I just moved to San Diego, so I don't know any gardening friends, but I want to try these great looking Green Tomato recipes from the June 2001 issue...so where can I get them? I don't see them in my grocery stores? Do I have to try and find a farmer's market? Will they have them, especially here in California? This ain't the South, y'all!!

No answer here, but that is a good question! I wonder if the produce manager of your grocery store will let you buy some if he/she has any?
