June 2001...2 corn pie/tart recipes??

The new June 2001 issue has two similar recipes...one for a Buttercrust Corn Pie, another for a Roasted Corn-Tomato Tart...I have no idea why they'd put two such similar dishes in the same issue, but since they did, has anyone tryied these? I haven't seen anything about the Roasted-Corn Tart yet, and I was wondering which to try.

The Buttercrust Corn Pie is the first recipe I'm going to try from the June issue. However, I won't have time until this weekend.

LaughsandLaughs I know why they included the Buttercrust Corn Pie- so that I can use the rest of my saltines in the pantry, the ones I bought to make the Salmon Cakes http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif (I thought the same thing when I saw them!!)
Seriously, if I get the time I will make the above pie this weekend, and will post.
Ebobbitt Are you making any changes in the recipe? I thought about not adding the ripe olives, DH isn't fond of them. Perhaps if I dice them really, really fine, he won't taste them...
