I'm planning on having a dog-themed party for my dd who will be turning 4. I already have lots of ideas, but am wondering if any of you creative types have anything to add?

I'm going to make dog ears attached to headbands instead of hats and paint little noses on the kids. Maybe make some sort of dog tag for each. For games...have them hunt for dog bones on their hands and knees, Maybe do a variation on "pin the tail", drop the biscuits in the dog bowl, etc. Have cupcakes with mints arranged to look like dog paws on top served with ice cream in a new dog dish that they can keep. Party favors...A rubber ball, dog bone shaped cookies, dog stickers, and pencils, maybe Blue's Clues or Clifford coloring books.

Any other ideas? I need some ideas for a few party favors for little ones, too...aged 12 to 18 months.

TIA!
Chrisi

I don't know where I saw this, but I thought it was cute... Dalmatian Pudding. Basically just vanilla pudding with chocolate chips stirred in (or anything similar like malted milk balls, raisinets, etc. for "spots").

You could always make little bags of "puppy chow"---that crispix cereal, chocolate chip and peanut butter snack.
