crockpot stoneware question

I have a rival crockpot....would i be able to put this in the oven? I cannot find my booklet and it does not say on the bottom of the crockpot. i wanted to cook something in it then use the crockpot tomorrow for a potluck. would this be doable? thanks so much.

I have the same crock pot and the booklet says not to put the stoneware in a heated oven.

The rival crockpot FAQ says that you can use the crock in the oven and micro, but not on the stovetop.

Hummm... That's odd... mine is a Rival 5 Qt. with removable stoneware and the booklet says not to put in the heated oven... mine is only a year old.
