View Full Version : Is anyone else having this problem with the bulletin board?

Okay, here's what is happening now.

When I click on a message, and scroll to the bottom of the list, often times there are messages missing! For example...I click on the "Mandoline" message thread, which shows a new reply at 9:50 pm...and when I get inside the message and scroll to the bottom, the last message was at 2:36 p.m.

Whazzup with that? I have to hit "Refresh" every single time I open a message thread to get it to load the most recent messages.

I've never had to do that before with this bulletin board program.

Anybody else having this problem?

Hi Deanna,
Yes, I have had this problem too. Just noticed it this morning or yesterday for the first time.

I'd noticed it a while back and just assumed someone else was posting same time I was...

I thought I had the corner on this market (crazy techno happenings), but not tonight. I did have that happen. Ex: note with 3 replies showing and I could only find one after several tries.

Yep, I had the same problem. Not all the time though and like Gail I thought it was because someone else was posting at the same time. I am having another problem each time that I edit my message. When I edit my reply and resubmit, it still comes back showing the screen with error. I tried refreshing and that doesn't work. I tried going out of the BB completely and coming back in and still not changed. My message changes eventually after I have been in the CL BB for a while. Weird. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/frown.gif

Beth, did you hit your REFRESH button once you were "inside" the message thread? That OUGHT to do it...but who knows!

Another problem/bug/glitch.
We'll be looking into it and again, I'll let you all know the progess.

Thanks for the communication. It''s much easier to fix things when we know about them!

I've been having this problem too....say a post has 15 replies -- I only find 9 of them. Plus, I haven't been able to read what I've posted, except once when I ended up reposting the same message. I only say my original post in the topic review at the end of where you enter your reply. Aargh! I'm sure this will get worked out someway or another, though!
