Hi all, I recieved a snowman muffin pan that has 6 snowman shaped tins for baking. I want to make some kind of fun treat for christmas morning, using this, but I'm unsure what to do. Can I follow a normal muffin recipe and just increase the baking time?? I have fresh blueberries, other than that, I don't know what kind to make. I'd like to make it more special, maybe have some kind of cream cheese filling, maybe dust with powdered sugar once I flip them out??
I'd love any ideas or recipes, thanks much--

SarahSarah, I would think that would be fine - just keep your eye on them when they are in the oven and you should be fine. Depending on the size of the snowman cups, you might want to adjust the temperature as well. If it is a "thicker" muffin than a standard muffin cup, it may get done on the outside before the inside if the temperature is too high. If it is more shallow, I would probably leave the temperature as is. Someone else on the boards may be able to give you more specific advice - I usually don't alter recipes enough to be good at that kind of thing.
And if it was me, I might bake something like the eggnog-flavored muffins (I think the recipe has been posted as "Rich Eggnog Bread" somewhere on the boards) for the holidays! Enjoy your new pan - let us know what you decide to make! :D

Whatever you decide on, I would think a "snowman" cry out for coconut on white frosting. Sounds cute!
