DH and I haven't been to the movies in over 2 years  , and we're are finally considering seeing something tomorrow. I just don't want anything too slow. And any opinions on Jarhead since that's at the local $1.50 theater?

Gosh, I'm excited about seeing Narnia, King Kong or Geisha right now.

The guy I work with that was a marine loved Jarhead, but I don't think I would like it.

I have to HIGHLY recomend Good Night and Good Luck

We see about 1 movie per year, and this is the one we chose. We WERENT disappointed! It was EXCELLENT!

I loved, loved, loved King Kong. I thought it was a beautiful movie. I didn't realize it was 3 hours and 10 minutes long until the ticket agent told us. But it doesn't feel long at all; the story and scenes flowed nicely.

Jarhead was pretty good - worth the buck/fifty.

Narnia was okay, Harry Potter was even better. Both are good stories.

Good Night and Good Luck was excellent.

Depends on what kind of movies you like. Jarhead is worth $1.50.

Harry Potter is good but if you haven't seen the others then you may not like this one.

Narnia

People seem to like King Kong but 3 hours of CGI and dinosaurs would kill me.

Good Night and Good luck is excellent.

I'll also recommend Capote.

Ditto hippie-chick's recommendation. Interesting, well made movie. I thought I was well educated regarding the McCarthy era, I discovered there was much more to learn.

We really enjoyed "Walk the Line" and the new Harry Potter movie. Those are the only two movies we have seen at the theater lately.
