When it calls for egg substitute, will liquid egg in a carton do?? I got the carton that said whites as well as the whole egg. Now is that right or wrong?? TIA

Unless I am confused - when they say "Egg substitute" they are talking about something that is just egg whites w/some color added. For example

This isn't the same as just already beaten eggs in a carton.

Now you got me confused, I thought all of the egg stuff in the carton was egg substitute and I have been buying it and using it such :confused: well it doens hurt except in calories and cholesterol :o
