I made the Better Homes and Gardens Chocolate Cherry cookies, and used -- half a small can of condensed milk.
The other half (half a cup or so) is sitting in a jar in my fridge. Anyone know any nice festive uses for it?

Perhaps you would have enough of the milk to make these.....
One Bowl Macaroons
2 2/3 cups coconut
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Heat oven to 350 degrees
Mix coconut, milk, and vanilla in large
bowl. Drop by teaspoonful about 1 inch
apart onto well greased cookie sheet,
pressing down ends of coconut with the back
of a spoon.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden
brown.
Enjoy!
:D :D Did you ever consider a sneaky bed-time snack? 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk + 1 spoon + semi-dark kitchen =
The Cooking Light police will soon be knocking on your door, but do scoop up the last bit, before answering it! :D :D
Decadant, I know -- tacky, too = :o Did I forget to mention "disgusting"?

That was... kind of the alternative I was hoping to avoid, ADM. :o (Condensed milk. Candy in a can.)

How about a half batch of Hello Dolly Bars/Magic Bars/7-layer bars, whatever you call them.
The one with the crust, various chips & nuts & coconut held together with s.c. milk.

I made a quarter-batch ( ) of White Chocolate Fudge with Cranberries. A little extra for the xmas cookie tray.
