Did anyone here watch Married with Children?

I didn't, so I'm looking for some help. I just got an e-mail from a friend in Germany who wants to know what Al calls Peg. The German translation is Dumpfbacke (which translates loosely to dumb-@ss), and they want to know what the original English was.

Does anyone know?

It's been so long, and we only watched it occasionally. However....that translation doesn't surprise me at all!

I don't know. But I do know:
In HS, her maiden(nick)name was Peggy (no need to thank her) Wanker.

He also called Kelly "pumpkin" quite a bit.

Well, bonus points to Escher. . .

After a little e-mailing back and forth, it turns out they really wanted to know what Al called KELLY. So, Pumpkin appears to the answer. Although Dumpfbacke is clearly not a translation of Pumpkin, it works well in terms of dubbing.

So, thanks to Escher for unintentionally providing the correct answer.

So on the German version they have Al calling his daughter "dumb@ss" instead of "pumpkin"? Not that the rest of the show is anymore respectful :rolleyes:
