I don't know what it is but my two corner cupboards never stay tidy.
Whenever I am cooking I always have to get the stool and start taking things out to find what I am looking for. It could be that I just cram too much stuff into them
Does anyone have an idea on how I can be more organized and find things easier in this cupboard. It is only the corner ones that I have a problem with. My other ones are quite tidy, honest :) .http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b5cc11b3127cce963baaf6777000000065118EcNW7Nq3cq

I have been keeping all my spices in a basket so all I have to do is pull down the basket and rummage thru it. Now, if DH was reading this he'd be ROTFL because I have 3 spice baskets (one for tall spices one for short spices and 1 that are in bags. ) ANYWAY it works for me. I'd separate your coffee and tea stuff together and try to match other things up as well. Taller items to the back, stuff like that. Good luck!

We are rather short on cabinet space so all of our foodstuffs are in the pantry. A friend recently organized my pantry(as practice for her Home Organization business) and she stressed that the key is really putting like with like. SHe likes using little baskets to group items-I now have an Ethnic Foods basket, an onion and garlic basket, a pasta and rice basket, a kids' snack basket, I could go on! And labels! She labeled everything so DH has no excuses! If I knew how, I would upload a picture(is that even the right word?). Currently I cannot seem to get pictures out of the camera!

Edit, edit, edit!
Do you HAVE to have everything that is in there, in there? Do you have duplicate items? Is something almost gone? Do you use it all on a regular basis? Can you redo other cabinets so the items you use the most are in reach & all else is higher?

I don't put foodstuffs in my corner cabinets. I put things that I rarely use, but don't want to get rid of in my corner cabinets.
Like the icky tupperware bowl that DH likes to eat popcorn in. :D In the lower one I have my cake pans, springform pans, pie pans, jello molds, pasta maker, etc.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will try and look for containers that I can keep "like" items in and think that will help. I don't have a very big kitchen as far as cupboards are concerned so need to use all the space I have.
Just to prove that I am sort of organized I thought I would show you my spice cupboard is organized :D http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b5cc11b3127cce9624642f962d00000015108EcNW7Nq3cq

Maureen, my organizer friend would be very impressed! What is that blue and silver thing on the middle shelf? I'm thinking pepper grinder? It's cool!

Our next house will NOT have the funky-shaped corner cabinets we have now!
My saving grace in those has been the lazy susan. Generally speaking, I use the corner cabinets for stuff I don't need very often - cupcake tins, big salad bowl, grill pan, etc. I keep canned goods on their side so I can see the label in a low cabinet that has a pull-out shelf halfway up (or halfway down, depending on how you want to look at it :) ).

Ooooh, I love your spice racks. I need to get my spices organized and those look terrific.

I, too, only put glasses and other things instead of food in the corner shelves. I used to keep food in there at another house and I could never find anything.

Jellyben....you are right...it is a pepper grinder...love the thing. You turn the red wing to grind and you can adjust the grind with a lever that moves from fine to courser grind on the side.
Love the idea of moving my glasses and coffee mugs to one of the corner cupboards...never thought of that. Thanks for the great suggestion.
