View Full Version : More chip questions
I bought a bag of Guittard Cappuccino Chips at Trader Joe's the last time I was in California. I have not seen these anywhere else, and Trader Joe's has not recognized the great state of Texas as part of it's market (yet, I hope). Has anyone else spotted these? Does anyone know if Guittard makes King Arthur's chips? King Arthur does sell a lot of the Guittard chocolates and they have a cappuccino chip, but it is $4.50 a lb vs. $1.59 for 12 oz. Thanks.

I have been waiting for 7 years for Trader Joe's to move to Dallas. Occasionally I check their website to see if they are expanding into my area, but no such luck yet.

I would think Central Market would be a good place to try....do I sound like a commercial for them or what? They have TONS of chocolate!

Hi! I went to the Guittard website (www.guittard.com) to see if they sold them there but they don't. Thought they might as Hershey's sells their stuff online--like their raspberry chocolate chips which are sold regionally apparently. Anyway, I did get a phone number for you to try 1-800-HOT-CHOC (1-800-468-2462). You can call them and see where you can buy those chips. BTW, they weren't listed as part of their product line so maybe they're not making them anymore. That would be a bummer as they sound really yummy! Let me know if you find them!
P.S. I'm in Texas too and I'm wish Trader Joe's would come here too. The first and only time I was in one was while visiting family in Arizona and it was awesome!
Thanks. There's an 800 # I should always be able to remember. It would be a shame if Trader Joe's only had them because they were closing out, especially since I can't look for anymore! I'll have to see what I can find out.
