Can one of you save me some hunting and leafing through magazines -- what issue did the food focus on lentils?

That was the September 2000 issue.

If I'm remembering correctly, they have a recipe in that issues for lentils and wine-glazed winter vegetables that was simply amazing. It's become one of my favorite dishes for company, regardless of the season.
