Just curious where everyone stores their's? Especially after it's been opened!
And what are your favorite's? I'm into white Zinfandel at the moment!

DH's white zin goes into the fridge...he's a slow drinker.
My reds (any of them) sit out on the counter even if it takes several days to consume (my taste buds aren't advanced enough to notice any degrading in that length of time). Actually, it is fun to see how the wine ages over a few days ...because that's what oxygen does in part.
My unopened cases are in the basement on racks or in their boxes on their sides.
For opened wine, get a Vacuvin (about $10-15) and pump out the air. It will keep much better, then store it where it will be at the serving temp you like for that wine.
After opening? Whites in the fridge and reds on the counter, topped off with nitrogen to keep them from oxidizing. You can buy it in bottles at decent liquor stores. We do drink a bottle of red each night (except Friday, which is margarita night) so there's rarely anything left to store.
Before opening, in the "cellar" - our wine room with racking and a chiller unit that keeps everything between 55 and 57 degrees F. It holds about 1000 bottles.
We like many California cabs, particularly those from around the Mt. Veeder area. Turley zins (almost any of them), Aussie Shiraz (or Grenache/Shiraz/etc blends), New Zealand Sauv. Blanc, chards from Landmark, Beringer, and Mer Soleil. Merlots from Behrens and Hitchcock. An occasional Gigondas or Cote Rotie is nice. As a well-aged port on cold evenings before bed. We're not yet well-versed in Italian, German, or Spanish wines.

Hollie,
Most wine shops will have these in stock. I have also found them at Amazon for a great price.
Hope that helps!
