email notification still not working

I'm still not getting emails re posts to subscribed threads. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. For example, there's a thread I started re Pear and Walnut Muffins. Someone replied to the thread last night, but I never received email notification.

It is extremely hit or miss. I haven't gotten an email in DAYS (or so it seems) and then even when I do get them, I don't get them for all of my subscribed threads.....

Well, now i'm getting flooded with emails (some are from posts that happened yesterday!) I'm not sure which I liked better, no notification or too many notifications :rolleyes:

I'd rather have too many! I hope that is a sign they have fixed the problem.

They haven't fixed it. I'm back to hit and miss email notifications (I didn't get one that you posted here for example :rolleyes: )

I got yours, but I'm not sure I'm getting all. I think I'll go subscribe to a few active threads and see what happens. I'll post back here and let you know.

The notifications seem to be kicking out to me AFTER I visit the board again; so when I visit the board, it looks like I'm getting notifications of posts made PRIOR TO my visit.

But it doesn't seem consistent. Earlier today, I did get a notification of a post made to a thread after I had visited the board.

it has been quite a while and i still am not getting any emails notifications from threads i have responded to.

what's the story?
