I often times have recipes that call for buttermilk but I don't use it enough to use up a whole container of it (even when I buy the smallest available--a pint). Does anyone know if I can freeze buttermilk? Or any milk for that matter? I'd like to freeze some in 1 oz. cubes then I can use it whenever. I've bought the powdered buttermilk stuff but its just not the same. Plus I usually have to make up more than I need to get the proportions of water to powder correct.

TIA!

Thanks lorilei! I keep forgetting that I can do a search on this BB for old topics! This BB is so much more advanced than I'm used to--very nice though! Sorry for the repeat discussion all. . .
