Hi All,

Mary Kay Culpepper, who is the editor of Cooking Light, recently sent me an email because she had seen one of our conversations regarding the June Issue. I had mentioned in that string that wouldn't it be cool if Cooking Light did an issue devoted to fast dinner recipes. Well, it turns out they were already working on that idea and she emailed me to let me know that they're going to be introducing a new section in August called Superfast that will include dinners that take fewer than 20 minutes including preparation! Cool huh?! Also, they're going to be having a special newsstand issue in September called Superfast Suppers so keep your eyes out for that one. cjm, I know what you mean. I was surprised when I received the email. I guess it makes sense that they would monitor the board as they'll find a lot of honest feedback here. I think one of the reasons I like CL is that I have always felt that they really do keep the reader in mind (and now this re-affirms it).

This sounds great! As I said in a previous post that I'm going to the CL weekend and this was the one thing I wanted to suggest.
I don't have time to prep a meal every night but I want to eat healthy every night! And I hate to say it but some nights I just don't feel like spending a lot of time cooking. Along with this I would also like recipes where you can get the ingre. from your pantry. I find I will make a recipe again or try one if I have most of the ingre. with just a few to buy.
