you guys are so great!!! i found the rhodes rolls...yippee!

donut-day finally arrived...i made the 'Citrus Cream-Cheese Pull-aparts' (obviously) and the 'Huckleberry (Blueberry) Coffeecake' that several people recommended. wow! so many compliments! and the results were half-n-half on which was the favorite! i'd say the coffeecake (although subconsciously, i know it's easier http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif) thanks, everyone!

Andrea,
That s awesome - I bet donut day will never be the same at your workplace! Have you now been recruited as the permanent provider of office treats? http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif

i hope not!!! i'd be in the kitchen permanently! i just hope i inspired the rest of these people to mix it up a bit...although i didn't/couldn't tell the guys the treats were "light"!

Speaking of being attached permanently to kitchens... how long did it take you to bake the two recipes?

Would love to do something like that for work, and want to make sure I have the time.

the coffeecake was very easy, the pull-aparts were time-consuming.

i did the cake the night before. i also started the pull-aparts the night before and then finished them in the morning (CL explains where to break the recipe) one nice thing is that the rolls were hot when i got to work.

i have to admit that i probably won't make the rolls again. i'm not patient with things that have to "rise"...to much hassle
