I am SOOO glad to "be back"!!! Last Friday (June 1) I was unable to view ANY of CL's web sites, including the BBs. (Kept getting a "page cannot be found" error message) I was bummed but figured that they were just down. Well, it was like that ALL weekend! So on Monday, I telephoned CL and asked them about it, and they said "no" they weren't down - and hadn't been!!! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/confused.gif And I could access ANY OTHER web page(s) that I wanted to - just not CL!!!??? So I called my internet provider and THEY couldn't access any of CL's sites, either! So, I started calling and e-mailing friends (in other areas) who said that they COULD log right on, no problem! MANY calls back and forth to my internet provider... and finally got some information. Apparently there was some "router" or "network" down between me (northwestern PA) and CL... and until THAT got found and fixed, it would not work (and they said it could literally take "weeks"!!! Can you imagine?!) Well, believe me, it has been a LONG 5 days - I probably wouldn't have survived "weeks"!!! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif But I was especially getting frantic because our Weekend w/ CL trip is coming up in less than 2 days and I couldn't get to the BB for info!!! I was going crazy! (BTW, not too far left to go...)
Well, finally tonight at about 10 pm... it came back up! I was practically GIDDY with excitement!
So anyway - I am wondering if anyone else out there had the same problem?! And moral of the story - just because you think the BB is down (for everyone) it may NOT be!!!
