View Full Version : Go Seahawks!!!!
I thought for sure someone else from Washington would have already posted this  I am not even a football fan but this being the first time ever to go to the Superbowl, I will become one for the next two weeks :D
Everyone here is going crazy and really friendly...that is always nice to see :)

Okay, I'll jump on the Seahawks bandwagon. My brother is a diehard Seahawks fan and has a ticket to the Super Bowl (who needs money in savings?), so I am hoping they win for him and the fine (and very loud) people of Seattle. :)

Oh yeah, I'm all about the Seahawks. For the next 2 weeks anyway. DH and I don't follow football, but it is hard not to get caught up in the whole thing. We might actually watch this Superbowl.
Now, who are they playing?

The Steelers. My DH is a HUGE fan, so I guess I will be cheering for Pittsburgh. But really, I will be cheering for the end of football season. :D

Oh baby, do I ever agree with THIS! :)
Two more weeks of Everything Steelers on the local newscasts (Like, nothing else is happening in the world that is newsworthy???)
DH, however, is so excited (he "makes up" for my lack thereof...) ;)

I won't exactly be jumping on the Seahawks bandwagon, but I'll definitely be pulling for the to beat Pittsburgh. Both the teams I wanted to win yesterday lost. Why bother. Oh yeah...for the advertisements and the party food.
I liked last year's game so much better....the Patriots and someone else. :D Pats won.

Go Seahawks! I saw your quarterback play in high school and in college! And saw his Dad play for the Patriots! Also, saw Tatupu's Dad play for the Pats. Hasselbeck had a tough time in college, but now that he has receivers who can actually catch the ball, he's on fire! And he's got a World Class coach!
GO SEAHAWKS!

Yup....that crazy song has been stuck in my head for a couple of days now. Sad to say, but that kind of silly stuff is what makes me get a little excited about Super Bowl. Not much of a sports fan.

I am a huge football fan and since my beloved Broncos lost to the Steeler's last weekend I'll probably be rooting for Seattle.

I'm sorry, Kim, but I refuse to acknowledge that any team not in existence (or moved to such places at Tennessee!) before 1955 even exists.
Therefore: GO STEELERS!!!

LONG time Steelers fan - VERY excited we're headed to the Superbowl! I'm now planning the party!!! I will be asking guests to bring their favorite "Gameday Food", so it should be interesting to see what others bring!
Here's a shot of "The Bus" and I at a work event. He's a spokesperson for the Asthma Control Test, which my company partially sponsors. My father, who grew up in Pittsburgh, was so excited that I got this photo that he considered using it as his Christmas card last year!

Hey - the weather's actually been kind of balmy lately. I'm thinking that they really could use some snow though to cover up all the straw on the sides of the newly re-built freeways (they finished too late to grow grass). It looks kind of funny. But downtown is really getting a clean-up and it's looking good. I'm getting out of here though - leaving for vacation on Friday so I completely avoid the Superbowl mayhem.
