Thanks for the thread....I see that some of the reviews were mixed, but you thought it was pretty good!!!
I made tortilla soup last night from fresh chicken stock, so I have a lot of cooked chicken to use.....

I know there was a recent thread on this, but I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. We made these last night for dinner with great expectations, but the results were a little disappointing. Granted, I was really rushed in putting all of this together so maybe that had an effect, too, but with so many of my favorite ingredients, I expected a little more than just a tasty sandwich. I'll give it this--it did taste like something I'd get at a restaurant.

You're welcome, Amy. let us know how it comes out!

I know, people around this board sure do have different tastes. But that's what makes the board great - a wide variety of opinions.

I thought the sandwhich was very good, BUT...it was so messy. I want to make it again, but next time I will try portuguese rolls. Also, I used goat cheese, which was excellent. I must be honest and admit I didn't do the spinach with balsamic - I used regular lettuce. There were so many good flavors, it was excellent, but next time I'll try and be more exact (except for the bread)

I agree on the "messiness" of this sandwich - many great flavors but I preferred several of the recent wraps to this sandwich.

Well, they were okay...I couldn't make them for dinner last night (was stuck at work until 10:30pm and it was just too late!!) So we had them today for a late lunch. They were easy enough and I did enjoy the flavors...thanks for the feedback!!!

To cut down on the mess I grilled whole chicken brests that i had butterflied and then put them on the sandwhiches. It was yummy!
