Does anyone know if these are dishwasher safe? I am thinking of getting some, but cannot find any info regarding this.

TIA

I would say probably yes. At least this one is:

Are you sure you want to put these in the dishwasher. The water will never reach the inside of that bottle through the narrow opening. It seems like it would be easier to hand wash these.

Do not use soap to wash the bottles. The residue will affect the taste of what you fill them with. Use a mix of bleach and water then rinse.

Eva, thanks for the link. My DH is definitely a dishwasher kind of guy-he likes the idea of super heated water and soap :D .

Robert-are you sure the epoxy liner could take bleach (diluted of course)?

Thanks.

I use a SIGG bottle and wash it by hand. I don't know if I have to though.

It should be OK if you use about 30 percent bleach. You can also use a 50-50 vinegar/bleach mixture. I would rinse it out fairly quickly.

Listed below are the cleaning instructions given by Sigg (http://www.sigg.ch/), one of the largest aluminum bottle manufacturers.

Robert-thanks for the Sigg info. Since they will only be used for water, DH will just have to live with the fact that they won't be going in the dishwasher. (Rereading my posts, it really sounds like DH has a dishwasher fetish :D -one more thing to tease him about :p )
