quick cooking magazine which i guess is now called simple and delicious?

I used to subscribe to it when it was Quick Cooking (probably stopped about 2 years ago). Obviously the focus is on fast/easy to prepare meals, but for the most part the recipes relied on lots of pre-packaged mixes, which I know lots of people don't like. And almost all of the stuff is definitely not light. I hardly ever made anything out of it in the probably 3 years I subscribed to it. If speed and simplicity are the only things your after, then it would probably be ok. If you want anything remotely healthy or using fresh ingredients, I wouldn't waste the money. JMHO.

I got it a few years ago, but everything I made tasted terrible. It's very focused on convenience; like if you had 17 kids and no time to cook, these are the kinds of recipes you'd come up with. Some of the baked goods were yummy, but the main dishes were always disappointing (and fatty, like the previous poster said). I canceled my subscription after about a year.
