I made this from the Sept 2000 issue last night. I was so disappointed! The glaze never flavored the tuna at all. I tasted the glaze by itself and it wasn't very flavorful either.
I did have to substitute for the mango nectar. It was on my list when I went to Fresh Fields, but I forgot to get it - probably because I got distracted when I saw Willard Scott in the produce section! Instead I pureed some frozen mango and used that.
Has anyone else made this? I'm wondering if I did something wrong and it's actually a good recipe. It sounded so good - despite the strange ingredient of cranberry juice - cranberry bogs in the rainforest?!
