I did the Pilates class at the gym this morning. The regular Saturday morning instructor wasn't there. This class seemed a little disjointed. Hopefully the regular one will be back next week!

Hi Melanie! Congrats on getting in the Pilates class, though that's too bad that your regular instructor wasn't there.

Today we went for a short hike and I did a session on the bike trainer. Later we're going to the pool :)

Who's next?

Hi Melanie and Natasha,

I also had an upset at the gym. No Cycling class at 9 am... which I had signed up for. They are on a "holiday" schedule for school vacation week. So I decided to do some weight work, which I hadn't done in a while. I spent about an hour at it, so not a wasted morning.

Natasha, where do you swim? Hope you had a good time.

Hi, Melanie, Natasha and Martha! Good workouts! :)

I walked 4.5 miles on the treadmill while watching SKY HIGH with the kids.....cute movie!

Hoping to run tomorrow....

A little OT, but I watched Sky High with DD on Thursday (she was home sick). It was cute! I've got to upgrade the basement TV so I can watch movies while on the treadmill. It sounds like the way to go!

I walked 40 minutes on the treadmill this morning. I was at the gym (like always) and didn't have a movie to entertain me. I was stuck with Meet the Press (is that another fairy tale?) or a rerun of the Olympics women's hockey game from yesterday. They still lost.

Just completed! I ran 4 miles on the treadmill yesterday and today. I feel great - 8 miles this weekend! I am a little tired and sore - I need to do some stretching now.

Question - Has anyone taken a jazzercise class recently? I keep seeming them advertised and thought that might be fun.

Nothing yesterday. Today went on a 4-mile walk.

I haven't been to a Jazzercise class in probably 20 years! But I used to enjoy going to them.

Hi all, and good job :)

We also watch movies when on the treadmill - definitely comes in handy though usually my preference is to run to music).

Martha, we go to the town pool right by our house. It's a very nice pool facility; I believe it won quite a few national awards when it was brand new. I'm not the best swimmer (to say the least! ;)), but am determined to get better, so in the past 10 days I've been four times (including today), and I'm already seeing the progress. Feels great (and it's been really fun too)! :D Later today, I ran 4 miles, which is good because we had Indian take-away with a friend, and it was sooo good (and sooo evil, as restaurant Indian food always is). BTW, hope your daughter feels 100% by now!

Jennifer, I have never done a jazzercise class. Good work on the 8 mile weekend!

Hi also to Melanie, Kathy and Peggy :)

Anyone else??
