After having the news on all day, DH turned to the College World Series. I will get a WX update and call you, but in the meantime, last look made it seem things were improving and the threat of a double whammy was falling. You could have delays from weather between here and there and the fact that Continental has been down all day at IAH(access to the airport and ability to get crews in). DH said Neil Frank was actually smiling the last time he saw him...a first for a couple of days.

What airlines and airport? I would assume things will be better by tomorrow because it didnt rain at all HERE (downtown) today...it was pretty much Friendswood and Baytown.

Our flight was canceled. I am on hold to see about getting another flight. I went to Continental's website to see about getting help but there wasn't anything, not even a FAQ about what you do if your flight was canceled.

Hold time was 15 min. but now it seems longer. The other phone number was 85-min. hold...grrrrrrr.

So I'm sitting down here waiting on the phone...

Keep trying http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif Continental cancelled 296 flights yesterday so now they are trying to work with those people as well as current flights. The Katy Freeway is still closed as well as several downtown roads and MANY resedential sreets. So many people have lost their homes and everything in them.

We are watching the news right now and are seeing a part of the Katy where the water has receeded and there is a massive pileup of cars and tanker trucks that no one knew was there!
