no more preview of initial thread post???

is it just me? until this week, when i pointed my cursor at the title of a thread in the listing, it would give me a brief glimpse at the initial post; haven't been able to do this now for several days... anyone else?

not intentionally, but the computer re-booted by itself 2 nights ago. TX!!!! i was planning to disk scan, defrag, delete .tmp files, etc. etc. this weekend.

i'm so glad that feature isn't gone; it really helped me gauge where to go first, or not at all, altho' i do try and give every thread a fair chance, 'cause i know how it feels to start one and be overlooked...:)

Hi MO!

I hate when the pop up bubble with the preview pops up and interferes with what I'm trying to look at. So I have to move my cursor way over to the far right while it's resting, move it back over to click on something, move it back over to the way right again, so I end up having to move back and forth, back and forth. I tend to scan the titles and the pop up preview blocks what I'm looking at. Very annoying (to me!!). And I think this might be the first thing we ever disagreed on! (ha ha ha ha ha ha) :D

While it works for me (and I love it - find it really convenient), there is the odd thread for which it doesn't work for me, for no apparent reason. :confused: But that's nothing recent, more something I've noticed once in a while over several weeks/months.

I've noticed this too and my guess is that this occurs with threads that were started before this preview feature was available.

The thing that I find interesting is that the length of the preview (amount of text shown) varies between Firefox and Explorer. I use Firefox at home and only get one line. When I use Explorer at work, I get a whole paragraph.

I wonder if that makes a difference in people's perception of its usefulness vs annoyance.
