Let's try this again...
What do you think of the medals at Torino this year?

Exactly what you think... I thought they were CDs! (That's the best they could do?)

For the record, there is a story behind that hole.
Designer Dario Quatrini says the hole represents the open space of an Italian piazza, or city square. Except the medal isn't square at all — it's round. And when worn, Quatrini has explained, it has yet another meaning:
"Circling and revealing the area near the heart and focusing attention on the athlete's vital energy and human emotions," says the Torino Olympic Committee.
So, that round medal? Represents a square.

That's old technology and sad for the medal winners. The IOC should have at least awarded gold, silver, and bronze iPODS.

Alternate caption for that photo: "I went to the Olympics and all I got was this stupid gold CD."

So, do you think they made little Timbit/Munchkin medals out of the inner holes??

Hmm, for Timbit hockey maybe?
Ooh, that reminds me. I have a Dunkin Donuts within walking distance of my house that I need to visit. Must stop in for breakfast this week.

Yes, I thought that young skater from Canada was pretty hot.
(That was the question, right?)
