I just tried a new product, and I like it so much, I just had to post a message about it. It is called Lip-Ink. It is not really ink, but it is semi-permanent lip color. Once you put it on, it does not come off all day long. It does not smear; it does not come off when you eat; it does not come off on the edge of glasses or cups when you drink something. You take it off at the end of the day with a solution called "Off" that they sell with the Lip Ink.

If you are interested, you can check it out at www.lipink.com. (http://www.lipink.com.)

I love it because I never remember to re-apply lipstick during the day.

I just checked out the web site and it looks great! What color did you get? I am thinking about the "natural". Thanks for the info!

I got Rosewood and Mauve HI because I mostly wear mauve lipsticks. The Rosewood does not have as much color as the Mauve HI. You should click on their "retailer" icon and find out what retailers are in your area. Then you can go to that store and see what the colors actually look like.

Sharon,

I really don't wear much makeup, but I wanted to just say that it's good to have you back...seems like you haven't been around for a while.

Val

p.s. I did look at that website, and if I was a big lipstick wearer, I would definitely try that! Looks like great stuff.

Woods1 - so you actually bought the lipink and are using it? When I first read your post I thought it sounded too goo to be true. Then when I read the FAQs I decided it was too good to be true. There sure are a lot of instructions for just applying lipstick - and of course you can't just get the lipink, you have to get the off and the moisturizer too. I'd be willing to give it a shot if it's not as much work as it sounds like. How long does it take you to apply and did your lips tingle?

valchemist,

Thanks. It is good to be back. I have been out of town a lot lately. Some on vacation and some on business. In fact, I am California on business today, but I just had to check in.

Packy,

I don't think it takes that long to apply the Lip Ink. I would guess a few minutes. My lips tingle a little, but not very long. However, I have to say that now that I have been using it for a few days, it seemed to stay on longer the first day. But it stays on a lot longer than regular lipstick - at least 4 to 5 hours. I still really like it. I touch up once during the day if I think about it.
