I was reading how one group managed their menu through a web site to make sure all bases were covered. Does anyone know how I can find that site?

People do it in varying ways. We have formed a yahoo group for our supper club. Another way would be to use evite.com and then when people RSVP, they would also pick/post what they are bringing to the dinner.

I maintain the website for our club at http://www.cheesystreet.com Currently we keep our schedules, recipes we've used at previous club meetings and other fun stuff on the website. This year we are also adding a wine-tasting section where we plan to keep track of the wine we purchase/drink during each meeting and each member will "score" it as well. We are not yet using our webiste to the fullest advantage - as there is so much more we could be adding and doing on it. But each day we think of other ways to expand it.
With the host that we use for our Cheesy Street Supper Club website, it ends up costing only about $7.00 per couple per year to keep the site up and running (not bad for a way to keep us all on the same "page" so to speak!. I use Front Page to manage and update the website site (because the program is so easy - but a lot of hosts have their own programs you can use right on-line.
I would love to see other websites from other Supper Clubs - but haven't been able to find any on-line yet.
If anyone knows of any...I'd love to get the web address!

We used to get occasional updates from this group (http://www.ohmygodtheycurriedkenny.org.uk/index.htm) in England. :D
Haven't heard from them in a while, though...

We are an Orlando supper club and we use evite to manage our menu, the host selects an invitation and sends it out via email. Guests can rsvp and tell what they are making so that other guests can see it and decide what to bring from that.

berobin--thanks for sharing your link. Pretty sophisticated!
We just e-mail each other. Lately we've put together a chart in the e-mails to ensure every course is covered, but with six couples and two singles, and some folks making multiple dishes, we usually don't have a problem with that. We also operate as pretty much BYOB.
