Anyone tried the Falafel in October 2000?

I did try this, but it was awhile back. I remember liking the taste a lot but having trouble getting it to stay together in a patty. If presentation is important to you, you may need to experiment with the consistency. I can't remember if I had been making any substitutions that may have caused my trouble. I remember liking the taste a lot though! If I remember correctly, this recipe was the source of that flaxseed I never used again...Good luck with it!

we've made this twice, but we fried the patties in a lot more oil than what was called for. so much for it being 'light'! the first time around, they were kinda dry, but the second time they were perfect. i thought it was a good way to use flaxseed...too bad we fried them so much though. it sort of defeats the purpose of putting the flaxseed in there! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif
