this was very easy and also refreshing. the only thing is that my sauce was not white but yellow. I emailed the mag. to find out if I made a mistake and I'm waiting a reply. did anyone try this and have the same results?

I just made this last night and yes, it was yellow, not white like the picture showed. Mine was also more creamy than foamy like their picture, too.

But it was YUMMY! Very nice over berries and some angel food cake.

Very easy also (as long as you can stand the 5 - 7 minute work out on your arms!).

This is definitely a keeper.

I like traditional zabaglione, which is made with Marsala. Do you see any reason Marsala can not be substituted for the champagne in this recipe?

Maybe they just made the sauce appear more white for the photo, thinking that yellow might appear, um, unappetizing??!!
