I think that is the name of the recipe, but came up empty doing a search. Anyone? Anyone?

I've been thinking about trying this recipe too so I'm interested in the responses.

I haven't made this, but my friend did and she said it was just OK. She said it wasn't bland or anything, just nothing spectacular -- good enough to eat since it was already made, but nothing she would make again.

I think I read a post a review a while back that was not very favorable.

I thought it was very tasty! The oven fried recipe with the buttermilk sauce got higher ratings, but this one was still worth making. I'll definately be making it again! I have just loved all these chicken thigh recipes!!

We thought it was pretty tasty, too. The spice mix was really good. For the paprika, I used half sweet Spanish and half hot pimenton from Dean & Deluca (I think this is the same as paprika). The only complaint was that the spice mix fell off the chicken as soon as I put it in the pan. Next time I think I will sear the seasoned chicken thighs first and then add them to the potatoes.

I thought it was a very "home-y" meal, what with the potatoes and peppers and onions; it tasted like a comfort food. But I wasn't as impressed with it as I've been with previous CL recipes. I found the spice mixture to be decent but nothing worth writing home about. I probably won't make this again.

I actually enjoyed this dish. This isn't the kind of recipe which will change your life (gee, that would be some recipe, huh?), but it is comfort food.

Did anyone try this with smoked sweet or smoked hot paprika? I thought about using it to add a different taste to the dish.

The family liked it a lot--I think that I would call it comfort food also.

I really enjoyed this recipe. It was more of a comfort food (not company food) but I'd definitely make it again. I loved the hefty portion!

i was pleased with the generous portions of this meal. This was a quick and easy meal. Another plus was i only had to wash one pan!
i agree with the rest of the reviews that this dish is "comfort food".

i made this recipe, and as others here said, it wasn't anything spetacular. The spices fell off the chicken once i added the water (or broth) and i had hoped that the potatoes would have been crisper they almost seemed like boiled even though they werent. the flavor was good though.
Next time i think i will use chicken breasts, and maybe add less water, or some cornstarch to thicken it. Maybe i just goofed when making the recipe. My family liked it, they ate it but it was only a 2 star dinner. they liked the oven fried chicken with the mustard sauce much better.

I tried this recipe tonite and used chicken breasts instead. I agree with everyone that is was rather bland and disappointing that all of the spices washed upon pouring in the broth.

I really liked this one. It's not really upscale enough for company, but it was very filling comfort food. Would definitely make again!
