Another Boston Spring Break Break

Once again, I have managed to get seriously injured in Boston during our Spring Break. Last year I broke my wrist shoveling snow at my MIL's in W. Newton. This year I fell while Roller skating at Roll On America in Lancaster - simply fell and fractured my fibula (the little bone in your lower leg.) Turns out that there may be a anuerysmal bone cyst on the bone that has weakened it and caused the fracture - or so the Newton-Wellesley Ortho Doc thinks. I have to go home to Houston and see someone there next week. Flying non-rev with my leg in a brace is going to be a real adventure.

Does anyone have any experience with either a fractured fibula or this bone cyst? Surgery? Recovery time?

Oh my, sorry to hear about your fall. :( I remember your fracture last year because DH had fractured his wrist several months earlier.

I have no advice, except that you really need to consider inviting those Boston relatives to your house next year. ;) :)
