I just got a note from an ebay buyer in Hammond, WI that she is completely snowed in and can only email from her phone.
I hope everyone in that area is snug and warm! I thought winter was over!!

I am not sure where Hammond, WI, is but here in the Twin Cities, we are having our second snowfall in four days and it is pretty snowy out there.

No snow where I am (pink shaded area) but we are supposed to get some. I have heard WI is supposed to get more than the Chicago area, so I am sure your friend has snow.
Here's the latest map from www.weather.com

It's been coming down steadily since about 8am.
I think further north...the next county from me, they are expecting 4-8".
We are only supposed to get 2-4" ..not bad for a March :D ;)

Hammond is actually not too far from the Twin Cities. We have a number of people who commute from there to my company, and I've seen them today, so I don't think everyone is snowed in! :) We are getting a lot of snow this week, though!

Shoot! I was toying with the idea of taking DD to WI during spring break while her brother is on a band trip. We have lots of relatives there, but I may need to rethink it. Spring Break starts Friday. :(

It will be 40 here next week wed.
Our streets get plowed pretty quickly and travel is rarely an issue. Still, when it's snowy and slippery, some people aren't the best drivers in that sort of weather.

Nothing where I am - no flurries, so the map is wrong for my location. Funny though, the weather map has changed since I first posted. I guess it's going to be doing that from time to time as they change the map of the weather channel.

I'm in New Berlin and it's not bad at all. I was expecting a big storm from the news. It's just a fine wet snow.

Checking in from Madison! They were expecting 8 inches. Turned out to only be around 3 inches. Maybe 4. So, not that bad at all. It will melt off quickly.

We got a teeny flurry this morning. Since then, nada.
Oh well.

It hasn't stopped here, but it doesn't seem to be sticking to the driveways at least.
Maybe 2" so far.

Gee, that's perfect. Enough to make it pretty and to roll around in a little, but not enough to have to shovel the drive.
Enjoy :)

I'm above Schaumburg, and we have at least 4 inches. It has pretty much stopped snowing now. The roads are pretty clear, and the interstates and main roads are plowed first. Most of this will be melted by next week. It's already dripping off the eaves of the house and the temp is 33 degrees.
