I think we were supposed to meet tommorrow...everyone interested still?
If not, I understand there is a farmer's market by the Spruill Arts Center
on Ashford Dunwoody, by the WalMart Shopping Center. I am going on Sat morning, early as I can, it opens at 8:30. Anyone want to meet there and check it out? Might work out better on a Sat morning than an weekday evening.

I can still go tomorrow, but if everyone else is busy, I understand. This Saturday won't work for me since I'll be out of town, but I'd really like to go the next weekend perhaps. I can't believe I didn't know that was there; it's only five minutes from where I live! Is it seasonal, or open year-round?

I know I cannot go tomorrow. I may be able to go Saturday AM if I can have directions from 400 at Lenox.

The first thought I had when hearing about the 285 fiasco was that this would indeed put a damper on Harry's!
I am up for tomorrow or Saturday, but where is the market by WalMart? Is it brand new?

Okay, how's this- those who can go to Harry's tomorrow will go. If I go tomorrow, I wont need to go to the Farmer's Market on Sat, so maybe I will just go next week. And maybe we can meet up there too if anyone's interested?
Susann, the Spruill Center for the Arts is like a little farmhouse that is a museum-type place too. (Right across from the Houstons) Apparently all summer they will have this farmers/artists market on Saturday mornings only from 8:30- noon.
So...did we say 5:30 or so at the Alpharetta Harry's tomorrow? Or do we want to do it later so we won't sit in traffic?
I have been taking MARTA so I am not sure how 400N has been by 285. You could maybe get off at Roswell Road? Let me know if you might need alternate directions.

I went to the farmers market by the Arts Center a couple of weeks ago and by the time that I had gotten there few things were left. I really recommend getting there early. I think I didn't get there until 10:45 as I had several things that I had to do. The corn that I picked up there was excellent. Probably just picked that morning.

Okay, y'all may be irritated with me; I'm trying to make this get-together as difficult as possible, as you can see...
It turns out that I'm not going to be able to make it tonight, and as I said before, I won't be here this weekend, but I promise, I really want to do this! I will reserve any weekend in advance after this. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif Maybe a Saturday or Sunday would work better for me, after all.

Alright, we'll just have to schedule it for another time then.
I'll probably head to that Farmer's Market by the Arts Center on Sat. I'll report back here on Mon morning. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif
