Hi!
I have looked for boneless chicken thighs and can't find them. I live in the DC area (Germantown, MD). Any ideas on where to find them? I want to make the garlic-lime recipe and have settled for chicken breasts because I just can't deal with the bones when eating or trying to hack them out. I wish I had better knife skills. Did anyone see the Iron Chef French peel apples on the first NY battle? WOW!!
Thanks,
Cheryl

Cheryl, in MA I can purchase at Stop and Shop and at BJ's. I am buying Perdue brand.
I would think you should be able to find these, since Perdue is Maryland. Good Luck,

Cheryl - We can get Butterball boneless, skinless breasts in Colorado. Can you get butterball out there?

Cheryl,
I don't have the greatest knife skills either, but I have found that my kitchen shears can make this job easy. I got so frustrated with removing the bones using my knife that out of desperation, I used my shears and now it's so easy.

Thanks for the quick responses! I'll try looking for the Purdue and Butterball. Are these fresh? I didn't think to look for frozen.

Cheryl,
I live in Northern Virginia and get them all the time at Safeway (in Arlington). I think they were Purdue. Good luck!

I think the Butterball is fresh - as fresh as butterball can be. Good luck!

Cheryl.....I have no problem finding them at my local supermarket but I also have bought the frozen boneless/skinless at Trader Joe's. Do you have one in your area?

Another easy option is to buy packaged thighs and ask the grocery butcher/meat counter associate to debone them for you. At most better grocery stores, they will do that if the item is not found in the packaged meats. Often this is even free!

Cheryl,
I live in Bethesda and have found boneless, skinless thighs at Giant and I found them again at Shoppers Food Warehouse the other day. They never have very many in stock so maybe they were out when you went. Keep looking though. That garlic and lime chicken is tasty!
hello crc77:
I found some boneless skinless at Fresh Fields on upper Wisc Ave. (across from AU). The brand was Bell & Evans and they were fresh.
