I'd love a low-fat recipe for a drink like a "Frappucino." Does anyone have any favorites?
Thanks in advance.

Hi!
I have a lowfat Yogurt Frappacino recipe.

1 c low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 T instant espresso powder
3 T confectioner's sugar
1/2 c low fat 1% milk
4 ice cubes, crushed
2 T non-dairy whipped topping (optional)
cinnamon, cocoa powder (optional)

Place yogurt, espresso powder, milk, and ice cubes in a blender. Blend until smooth and frothy. Pour into a chilled, 14 oz glass. Top with whipped topping. Sprinkle with cinnamon and/or cocoa, if desired.

Enjoy!

Starbucks Frappuccino (Frozen)
Here is the clone of the original coffee version of the drink.

Coffee
1 1/2 cups cold coffee
1/2 cup whole milk (I use 1 % milk)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon chocolate syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups crushed ice or ice cubes

1. Combine the coffee, milk, sugar, chocolate syrup and salt in a blender and mix on medium speed for 15 seconds to dissolve sugar.
2. Add the vanilla extract and ice then blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Stir with a spoon if necessary to help blend.
3. Pour drink into two 16-ounce glasses.

This is great in the summer. When you have extra coffee just put it in the fridge then you can make your frappucino...

Here's the non-frozen clone version of Frappucino, from topsecretrecipes.com:

A couple of tips first, though: since I'm not an espresso drinker, you can run the coffee through the coffeemaker twice to get similar results. Also, I've found that the pectin doesn't always dissolve completely, so I dissolve it in the hot coffee first and then put the mixture through a strainer after it's chilled to keep it nice and smooth. It's also great using flavored coffees!

1/2 cup fresh espresso
2 1/2 cups lowfat milk (2 percent)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon dry pectin*

Combine all of the ingredients in a pitcher or covered container. Stir or shake until sugar is dissolved. Chill and serve cold.

Makes 24 ounces.
