I had a hard time getting on this morning and finally gave up. No problems this afternoon (or early evening EST).

well, I checked intermittantly all afternoon because I was desperate to find something and I gave up around 4:00 my time. I'm just glad to be able to get on.

Check out this posting from Maelynn on the Tech Support board. I think it explains all of the problems we've had lately.

No problem! I was just tinkering around this afternoon since I couldn't get to the Food board. It goes without saying that I was quite pleased to find Maelynn's post.

I was wondering if it was just me but for the last 3 days I've had trouble either getting on the board, it being reallllllly slow or not being able to get past page one. I tried page 3 and it would not even come up. Posting is slow, too, and I have DSL. Grrr.
Just tried to post this and it said document has no data (I thought they were talking about my brain http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif and to contact the administrator. Maelynnnnnnnnnn?

Yesterday after about 11 am I could view every board except for Good Food. It was really frustrating, like walking a million miles to the candy store and it's dark inside and all locked up. And there I am with my nose pressed up against the door.

I didn't have any problems until yesterday around 1 or so either. In fact, it was weird, but the day before I was thinking to myself how smoothly the board was running. I should have knocked on wood...

You know it's pretty bad when we have the virtual 'world at our fingertips' with the Internet...and we're hyperventilating because we can't log onto one site. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

Ralph, I woulda checked that board but I couldn't get past the front screen!
You guys may already know this one, but in the event you don't, I'll pass it along. And, of course, if you can't get past CL's home page, this could be yet another deterrent..
Nonetheless, assuming you're able to navigate your way into www.cookinglight.com, (http://www.cookinglight.com,) and then can move on to community and then bulletin boards, you'll come up with this screen: http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/ubbcgi/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro&BypassCookie=true
And if you click on the line that says:
"Click here to get today's active forums" you'll be able to see the active stuff on all boards, including the techie board. You may not be able to post, but it may allow you a frustrating glimpse at what other people have posted.
