I was just in Foster's Market to grab some lunch. While waiting for my sandwich, I talked a bit with Sara Foster. I told her about this board and mentioned that members share information about her cookbooks and recipes - and every comment I've seen had been most favorable! She said she'd check out the boards.

That's so cool! We are actually having her Crispy Pan-Roasted Chicken with Spaghetti Squash and Balsamic-Roasted Tomatoes tonight! One of many repeaters from Fresh Every Day for us! :)

Things are sure exciting around here! We have a Bake-Off winner and now Sara Foster. How exciting is that!

Oooh, was it the FM in Chapel Hill? I haven't there in a while.

Beth - Yes, it was the Chapel Hill market. When the market first opened, both Sara Foster and her husband were there all the time. Then, as she started doing more and more things, we saw less and less of her there. She was doing just regular work there today.....putting price stickers on food. It was good to see her back in the market.

Sara Foster is scheduled to do a cookbook signing at A Southern Season in April. She's also doing a cooking demonstration. I need to check out the registration information- I may sign up for that one.
I checked both of her books out of the library. I'm planning on going ahead and ordering them both. They're great.

Oh, I'll have to check the A Southern Season schedule, too. My DH got me a gift certificate for cooking classes there for Christmas that I haven't used yet. I've never seen her at Foster's, though I usually go to the one in Durham on 15-501. She was just at W-S at Southpoint for a class making recipes from Fresh Every Day, but I couldn't go :(
So, maybe I'll get to meet some BBers soon?!

Do you live in Durham?
I think a triangle BB meeting would be a lot of fun. I think I'll start a thread to see who's interested.
