Since I am new at using the interner. Can someone give me a few hint on how to search without having to go through every recepi? Any other helpful hints would be welcome.

I think there might be something wrong with the search function right now because everytime I try it, most of the threads won't come up. They just say error.
Hi guys!
I don't think there's something wrong with the function, exactly. This seems to happen whenever CL does a mass archiving. Maelynn et al are currently in the process of archiving any threads six months old or more. Typically, I've found when this happens you start getting a bunch of error messages because the links need to be changed from the active forum to archive. I don't know if they straighten out the links when they're all done, or whether a search of the archives will yield the so-called missing links. (Bad pun.) Very likely if your search yields results more recent than six months old, you'll be able to access them without getting error messages.
In a nutshell (coming from one of the nuts) this too shall pass...
In the meantime, eggbeater, check out this thread from last month. Maybe that'll help narrow your search.
