For all those in the Boston area, I just got this e-mail about an event Sunday, April 2, 3 p.m. at Porter Square Books. Four food writers will be talking about .. well, about food and writing.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go -- if anyone else is interested in going too, let me know! Porter Square Books is a really nice bookstore, relatively new, with an interesting and eclectic selection for browsing. There are also some nice places to eat nearby. It's right at the Porter stop on the Red Line, right off Mass Ave. in North Cambridge.

Here's a link to the website about the event: http://www.portersquarebooks.com/NASApp/store/IndexJsp?s=storeevents&eventId=321283

And here's some info from the e-mail I received:

Lauterbach will talk about developing recipes for magazines.Terry Golson will moderate the program. Thanks,Helene,
I'm a Bostonian but unfortunately have other plans for Sunday! Look forward to maybe hearing you post what goes on.
