Hi, everyone! What is the exercise of choice today? :D
I went for a 4 mile run (SLOWLY) since it was so nice out, then a 20 minute walk with the dog to cool down.
Have a good weekend, all!

Hi Kathy. I went to Step class and my legs felt a bit tired, so instead of staying for the weights class I just got into the pool and did a mini-workout for about 15 minutes.

Kathy - You're up to 4 miles?! That's terrific!!!! You'll be doing a 5K (or 10K) in no time :)
Terri - When I tore up my ankle 3 years ago I went to water aerobics when I got the OK to workout, and it was a great changeup to my routine. Let me think - do you have just 6 or 7 weeks left? That's gone quickly (of course I'm not the one who's pregnant ;) )
I did another 2-2 1/2 of run/walk intervals today. Sunday I plan to step up to 5-7 minute running intervals in hopes of getting back to my 3 miles within a few weeks.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hello Ladies!
Today I did 30 minutes on the Nordic Track. Our spring break starts tomorrow so I'll be gone next week. Keep up the good work and I'll try to at least walk as much as possible! :)

Hi Peggy and Sheila!
Sheila, yes the pool is a nice change. Also the only place I feel "light" right about now! :) I have about 7.5 weeks left. I think it's gone fast too!
Happy Friday!

Kathy, congratulations on the run!! :)
Sheila, what did you do to your ankle a few years ago? Sounds painful :(
Peggy, have a great spring break!
Terri, I'm impressed that you're exercising as much as you are. You rock!
Last night I worked out on the elliptical trainer, and today at lunchtime I went for a swim, which was fun. Needed to rest the legs from running & running-like exercise for a day, and our bike trainer is in the shop.

Happy Friday!
I just walked outside for 30 minutes today and did some nice long stretching and pushups when I got home. With the rain clouds moving in this afternoon, I thought it was best to soak up the sun and blue sky before it is gone again.

Natasha - this is so embarrassing to admit, but I was running down the stairs to answer the phone and tripped :o I tore the ligament(s) that are on the top and in front of the ankle bone. It was horrible and took months to recover from....
At least if I had been doing some extreme sport it would have sounded more like a "battle wound" eh?
Peggy - have a great trip! Are you going somewhere fun?
Good workout, Tricia!

Good workout, Tricia!
Sheila, you need not be embarrassed - you can't possibly be more klutzy than I am ;) :o Glad you're all recovered now!
I did my upper body workout not too long ago and rediscovered something. Tricep extensions are HARD.
Take care, all!
