I'm just back from step class and body sculpt class at the gym. A great workout - next up, a nice, hot shower :D
Anyone else working out today?

Hi Sheila,
Great work, and I'm sure the shower hit the spot!
Today I did my long run: just over 20 miles. I also went for a walk beforehand and plan to go for a *short* hike soon. Short is the operative word ;)
Who's next? Have a great weekend, everyone!

Hi Sheila and Natasha. Great jobs today. Wow, 20 miles. That is amazing.
I went to the hour-long cycling class at the gym. No weights today; had to hurry home because DD is sick and miserable. :(

HI, all! Good workouts!
I took a bit of a rest day today. I did mow the front yard this afternoon which was the first time this season. (I have a guy coming by later to bale for me! :p ) Also, DD and I took the dog for a 1.5 mile walk. Another beautiful day!
Sorry your daughter is sick, Martha. My DD came home from school with a fever yesterday, but she is much better today. Hopefully your daughter will recover quickly, too.

Good morning!
I got to the gym this morning with the intention of running/walking, but it turned out that all the treadmills facing the TV were taken (the Masters, you know!) so I rode the elliptical for 40 minutes instead. Had to see how Phil Mickelson and Fred Couples were doing :p
Martha - hope your DD is feeling better.
Natasha - 20 miles  I'd be in traction ;)
Hello to Melman and Kathy!

Good work, all!
Martha, I hope your daughter feels better soon, and Kathy, I'm glad yours feels better already.
Sheila, doesn't it make the workout go by so quickly when there's something good to watch? I know it makes a big difference.
It's a beautiful day here too. So far we've gone for a walk and done quite a bit of yardwork. I plan to go for another walk with a friend, and do a full set of abs before the day's through. (Also cleaning house - that does count, right? :))
Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone,

Hi again,
DD is feeling a lot better... thanks for your good thoughts coming her way!
Today I ran 3 miles on the treadmill, which is a first for me. Yea me! I also raked leaves and had DD bagging for as long as she could stand it. Then she sat in a lawn chair and directed me. ;) I had wanted to go for a walk with her, but she's not quite 100% yet. At least I got her out into the fresh air for an hour.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend, everyone.

We're quite the productive group this weekend! Can anyone tell it's spring??!
Today has been extremely busy! I started out at the gym where I did 35 minutes on the treadmill and then did a really good lower body workout.
I just finished mowing the yard and then topped it off by putting out fertilizer (well, weed-and-feed) which meant I did a second trip around every foot of the yard. I've been wearing a pedometer all day. So far, I'm up to almost 12,000 steps! Sounds good to me.
Have a great rest of the weekend!!!

Natasha - 20 miles  I'd be in traction ;)
:p LOL!! :D
Great work, everyone!
I am taking another rest day today since my ankles were aching a bit after Friday's run, then planning to run again tomorrow. I did do a bit of yoga this afternoon, though, so the day is not a total bust.
Sheila, YEA for the three miles! And double yea(!) that your DD is on the mend.
House cleaning definitely counts, Natasha! ;)
Melanie, 12000 steps! That is impressive!
Sounds like everyone is having beautiful weather and getting outside to enjoy it. See you tomorrow!
