I so wish Terry would use that immunity idol to his advantage. He seems to be trying, but not doing much with it. Tonight he needed to go to the women from the other tribe and tell them, "You think when it's just the six of you left (after Terry and Sally are gone) that you will win immunity against the guys? Come with us and you are guaranteed final 5. Then when we get rid of the guys, it's you three woman against Sally and I, so you have the majority and get final 3". Maybe he is trying more than what we're seeing.
Glad to see from the previews that things seem to be going awry with the other group.

I'm trying to figure out why Terry was telling Sally he'd give her the immunity idol and then not do it! He did the same thing with Austin. They don't seem upset, either.
Shane is way too tied up in his son. He seems really fried.
This is the first time that someone's been "on their own" against a big group where they're the strong person. Steph was alone a few seasons ago but she wasn't alone because she was winning all the immunities. It's definitely a different twist on the season.

I think Terry is using the idol to his advantage. I think if he had used the idol on Austin or Sally, the group would have just turned right around the next week and vote one of them off anyway. Plus, if Terry used the idol on one of them and didn't win the individual immunity, his butt would have been the first to go and he wouldn't be able to save himself. So, I think he's playing it to his advantage. He needs to keep winning the individual immunity so he can keep the idol a little longer to secure his spot in the final few. But, having the idol now, especially since he's the only one from his tribe left, is his saving grace next week if he doesn't win the individual. So, I don't think that Austin or Sally really expected Terry to use it on them.
Also, as it stands now, if the others start to believe that Terry really does have the idol, they have to start making strategies among themselves. As it is now, one would presume that the other tribe would all vote against Terry. Well, if Terry doesn't win individual immunity, he whips out the idol and, whomever he votes for goes. So, I think the other group might start to turn on themselves and perhaps try to stay on Terry's good side and maybe make a deal with him -- he's got the idol plus he's the strongest player there.
Just my opinion.

They interviewed Austin on the radio yesterday morning. He said that he knew all day that he would be going home. He knew that no one on the other side would switch and that Terry would keep the idol.

I never expect Terry to give the idol away, but I want him to use the threat of it to his advantage. Such as telling Shane if you don't vote our way, we'll vote for you and I'll use the idol and then you'll be gone. That would drive Shane crazy--and that's exactly what you want to happen.
And why does Terry show a select few the idol and not announce it to the group? I guess to stir things up. I just hope Terry wins--or maybe Cirie. The rest I don't want to win.
If the person with the medical emergency leaves the show next week, then there won't be a tribal council and Terry will be safe another week. He just may get to the final four without using the idol.
