Hi everyone,
We just bought a new log home, yeah! But it has come to our attention that the really cool catwalk across the cathedral ceiling will completely cut off our daughters bedroom if their is ever a fire. The woodstove sits between the two bedrooms in the living room below.
So now I am trying to think of the best sort of fire escape that my 4 year old could manage by herself. The way the house is situated puts her 3 stories up. Some of the permanent ones look fairly easy to use. I'm a little worried about her being able to manuver the portable ones. But of course we would practice.
Does anyone have one?
