I got MasterCook!

I just had to share that I found MasterCook 6.0 (the CL version) at Target this weekend for $20. And it includes the free subscription to CL. I have been wanting to get this for a long time (have never had recipe software before) but have been looking for a lower price than the $30 listed on the Sierra website. I can't wait to try some of those 3,000 CL recipes and to import recipes from this BB into the software. Maybe I can finally get rid of the piles of recipes I have printed out and piled up in my bedroom, dining room, kitchen...

Hi Gaye,
I just got MC a few weeks ago and have had fun playing with it. When I got on a few days ago I had a problem searching cookbooks and went to the sierrahome MC help bulletin board and am happy to report that I got a very quick response. I'm going to try their suggestion tonight (turns out I may have a corrupt cookbook which seems to be a common problem).
I only wish they had more current recipes than 98. I just don't have the budget to buy all the cookpacs from then until now.
I haven't gotten around to getting rid of my older magazines, yet. It's hard letting go... http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Darn...I stopped by our Target on the way home. They had the label for MasterCook on the edge of the counter, but I couldn't find a package. They did have the MasterCook Complete Suite of Betty Crocker blah blah blah...for $49!! The Sierra website has it for only $39!! Oh well...maybe they'll get in more packages soon.
