Hey cooking lighter's....anyone have a really good low-fat vanilla ice cream recipe? With as many ice cream makers as there are out there, recipes are hard to find. Thanks, Markay

MarKay, many people have shared some great ice cream and sorbet recipes on the board in the past. Try running a search (there is a link at the top right hand area of the page). I am also interested to see what new recipes might get shared as I just purchased an ice cream maker!

In fact, there are at least two current threads with ice cream/sorbet recipes. Check out the one on Rasberry Sorbet from Williamsburg and the one called "I made ice cream!"

Susan, I bought the Cuisinart. I saw the other thread by Valchemist where you both want details on the various models. However, mine has not arrived yet so I cannot give any details except that I bought it at Williams-Sonoma for $60 and got a free extra bowl with it. I cannot wait to try it out!
